Drew was joint singer\ writer with the 80s band ‘When in Rome’ who were signed to Virgin Ten Records by legendary A&R man Mick Clark in 1985 and is currently joint singer\writer with Farrington & Mann, with fellow ‘When in Rome’ band member Clive Farrington. They achieved recognition with the 1989 Release of ‘The Promise’ which reached number 7  in the USA Billboard chart and their dance version 12” mix. getting to number 1 in the USA, with the 2nd single ‘Heaven Knows’ reaching 38 in the US Billboard Chart   

Throughout the 90s Drew collaborated in various projects including recording with Steve Norman of Spandau Ballet, Neal X from Sigue Sigue Sputnik and with Matt Rowe producer and writer of hits for The Spice Girls , Sugarbabes & Sophie Ellis Bexter. and also on a solo project on A&M records under the band as MANN . working with producers Jolley Harris Jolley and co-writing with the band ‘Innocence’, reaching number 5 in the UK Charts .  Signed to Kobalt publishing with co-writer Clive Farrington they released an orchestral version of ‘The Promise’ and ‘Heaven Knows’ featuring The Prague Philharmonic and their new single ‘2Fixus’ which is on their upcoming album ‘Farrington &. Mann’.
